A dead cat bounce TD for Montana. Late hit call on JJ was terrible. Poly lb was clearly pulling up.

Why would you not put a spy on qb after first quarter??

3 min left. No clue why the announcers were saying CP should punt if they didn't make it on 3rd down a few plays ago. Your up by 14, 5 minutes left, and at mid field. Why not go for it.

3rd and 1 at the Griz 1yd line for Poly and mass confusion as the refs took a mighty long time to call the CP qb dive a TD.

Still enough time for a Nguyinning fumble though!

I'll be damned Nguyen managed to hang onto the ball for the whole game!

My gosh, did Gregorak even see that QB follow on film? I don't think the Griz ever saw that coming....why would you not spy their QB? He did all the damage.

In a 4-3, QB spy is pretty difficult, IMHO. That unless you use a safety. Cal Poly's formational alignment makes that difficult. Not impossible, just difficult. Secondly with QB follow especially with the types of downs and creases the veer type block creates and with the line spacing, a spy look just alters their run track. You just eliminate a player and frankly the offense that poly runs, I don't personally think that is smart. Everyone is different. If I have time I'll write something up.

My guess without seeing the film QB follow was probably three or four different plays. Just a hunch.

Anyway, more or less this is on the frustrating inefficiency of the offense and I don't have a clue how they are going to fix it. Your guys guesses are good as mine.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

I understand your points 24, however, after giving up over 150 yards in the first half to the QB there had to be some type of adjustment. I don't think using a safety is that out of line given that their QB, this year, was not that big of a threat to go deep.

I agree 24.. This was on the offense. I will bet MSU scores 42 next week. Not sure what the answers are but we pry won't score 42 the rest of the year

We haven't done half-time "adjustments" during the whole time Delaney has been coaching. Why start now?
