2014 Montana vs Eastern Game Thread

Postby ALPHAGRIZ1 » Sat Dec 06, 2014 10:51 am

Ty had better get his head out of his ass and get the point across there will be no big plays today.

If Hermanson has 5 flags for horsecollar tackles so be it but he does not get beat deep. He is a senior and should have learned by now when playing safety, "nobody deeper". That applies to Easterns WRs too Maty.

If we turn the ball over today, this will not be close, but I have a gut feeling Adams is going to have the worst game of his life just like Bleskin did a couple weeks ago. Ewu will have 3 or 4 turnovers and keep us in the game.

You are crazy AG, Eastern does not turn the ball over often and I would bet they are focused and do not turn it over today. Rain may make a difference but both teams play in it. I have not had a good feeling all week about this game, I think it could get away from us fast unless we put some points up on the board and keep the Eagles playing from behind. When they get lead Griz are not good enough to play catch up.
Coach Hauck after the 2007 Griz /Cat Game - "I wish there were a 5th quarter in that game so we could kick their ass some more!"

Huge Sacks. First by Crittenden and then Holmes/Wags. If Montana can cause problems with a 3/4 man rush all day, then that can free up Gregorak to do some other stuff.

Wags was subbed out early on that possession. Smart choice. Make sure he keeps his legs.

Missed the first possession on offense...but forcing a punt there was huge.

Good to see Haynes out there.

Need to use that possession passing game.

Argh. Jones with a hold/pancake block.

Sounds like a high school crowd.

Another 3 and out.

Good heavens, they can't have the mistakes.

You need to be able get eastern in two way third downs.

And a block.
